What I Pack First
I don’t overpack. I travel with things that serve me, nothing more.
Card holder goes in first.
Slim. Clean. No fuss. I’m not carrying a wallet stuffed with expired gym passes and haircut stamps from 2019. I’m travelling, not hoarding memories.
Wired headphones come next.
Not a style choice. I just forget to charge the wireless ones. These never let me down.
Then, a great watch.
Mine’s a vintage Tag Heuer, an engagement gift.
It’s simple, reliable, and personal. It doesn’t need to say anything louder than that.
In my wash bag, next to the usual bits, is Creed Green Irish Tweed.
Fresh. Smooth. Quietly confident.
Doesn’t shout, but your wife might notice it before you do…
Cigar case is always packed.
Continuing the family tradition. Just for the right nights, the ones with cocktails, warm air, and the kind of silence you don’t need to fill.
Then, sunglasses.
One pair. The right shape. They should compliment your face,
assuming, of course, you don’t gain weight.
That’s all.
Nothing extra. Just what fits, works, and feels like it should be there.
Because style isn't about how much you carry, it's how well it carries you.
